Gayle Anne Cooley

GAYLE ANNE COOLEY, age 73, devoted daughter of Hermiene (nee Lawrence) and the late Gordon, loving sister of the late Gordie. Gayle passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, April 11, 2018 at Solon Pointe after a long illness. She was the admired and beloved cousin to many. Graduate of the University of Miami, with a Masters degree from Kent State, she taught in the Catholic school system. Her next career involved the travel and tourism business. She evolved into an accomplished journalist and published author. Gayle was brilliant and beautiful, and her passing will leave a hole in our hearts. We trust she is at peace in a better place. In lieu of flowers, a contribution in Gayle’s name to the Church of the Resurrection, 32001 Cannon Rd., Solon 44139 would be appreciated.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Church of the Resurrection at 9:30 AM. Interment following in Crown Hill Memorial Park. Arrangements entrusted to THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID.
