GAIL LYTHOS (nee Krapp), aged 70 years, beloved wife of the late Nicholas, dearest mother of Kim Hood (nee Lythos), loving grandmother of Damon and Alexia Lythos, and Brody Hood, daughter of the late Gilbert C. and Elizabeth Ann (nee Bierer) Krapp, caring friend of Jackie Coughlin.
Gail was a resident of Lyndhurst after moving from Mayfield Heights in 1972. She retired in 2010 from dedicated service as a R.N. at Lake West Hospital, formerly serving at the old St. Lukes Hospital and providing home care services for those in need. She was a friend of many through her membership in her book club, her aerobics classes at the Y.M.C.A., and her memberships in the Senior Scrabble group, the Community Partnership on Aging, and the Lyndhurst Garden Club, as well as many cherished co-workers and friends from her nursing days. Gail was also a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Many will fondly remember her as a classic lady who was reserved, caring, giving and thoughtful.

Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday August 16, 2014 at 6:00 PM at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.). Private burial in Lake View Cemetery. The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Gail at the FUNERAL HOME on FRIDAY from 4:00 to 8:00 AND SATURDAY 3:00 to 6:00 PM.
