Gail Haverdill

GAIL MANBECK HAVERDILL (nee Gilbert), aged 69 years, beloved wife of Thomas and the late Dale Manbeck, loving mother of Brad Manbeck (Leslie) and Leah Martin (Jeff), cherished daughter of Marguerite and the late Robert Gilbert, dearest sister of Brian Gilbert (Connie), dear step-mother to Karen, Kathleen, Tommy (Nancy) and Scott Haverdill and Kristy Monaghan (Chuck), treasured grandmother of 9.

Gail was an elder at Disciples Christian Church in Cleveland Heights and a member of the church choir. She volunteered at Connor Integrative Health at Ahuja, Healing Hands at the Cleveland Clinic, Color Your Corner, Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (Purple Stride), and McGregor Nursing Home.

Gail graduated from Cleveland Heights High School and attended Wittenberg University. She was a chief special creative analyst and creator of beauty as an interior designer and art teacher. She enjoyed arts, crafts, volunteering and helping others.

Gail got the most enjoyment in life from being with friends, family and through creating something. She loved holidays and any excuse for a party.

Her family remembers her as creative, generous, funny & loving.

Services to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Gail will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Disciples Christian Church, 3663 Mayfield Rd., Cleveland Heights (44121) at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Gail suggested to Disciples Christian Church. Arrangements entrusted to THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID.
