FREDERICK M. LAZAR age 69, beloved husband for 47 years of Rosemarie (His Rosie) (nee Miller); loving father of Thomas cherished son of the late Mirko and Albina Lazar; brother of Laddie; well-loved brother-in-law, uncle, and great-uncle of many.

Frederick was born on April 18, 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio. He lived in Kirtland, Ohio for 32 years, prior to that he lived in Wickliffe, Ohio, and grew up in Collinwood, Ohio. Frederick, graduated from St. Joseph High School (where boys were made into men) in 1971 and Lake Erie College in 1980 where he earned his business degree. He was an owner/operator at ML Grinding Inc. Frederick was a gym rat, enjoyed physical fitness and traveling with his wife, Rosie. Fred loved watching his son play sports more than anything. He was a devoted Green Bay Packers and Cleveland (Indians!) fan, and he enjoyed refereeing OHSAA football. Fredrick was hardworking, social and generous. Also, he enjoyed helping others and tried to motivate people using a positive attitude and great sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Frederick to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, June 17th, 2022, at Divine Word Catholic Church 8100 Eagle Road Kirtland, Ohio 44094 at 11:30AM. Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate Frederick at Divine Word Catholic Church: Friday, June 17th 2022 at 10:30AM.
