FREDERICK JAMES KREINER age 81, beloved husband of Blanca Luz (Montoya) and the late Sally Marie (nee Steiner); loving father of Fred (wife Julie), Michael (wife Linda), Beth Kobe (husband Paul) and Jennifer (wife Yolanda Feliciano); devoted grandfather of Jessica Kobe Miller (husband Lance), F. Jason (wife Christina Niro), Monica Kobe (husband Steve Boensch), Kaitlin Miele (husband Aaron), Paul Kobe, Matthew and Kyle Kreiner and great-grandfather of Madeleine; cherished son of the late Frederick Joseph and Esther (nee Farkas); dearest brother of Nancy Klinck (husband William, deceased); treasured brother-in-law of Susan and Dave Klausner, Sharon Markstrom, Paul and Lucinda Steiner; dear uncle of David and Brittany Klausner, Brian and Lucia Klausner, Marnie and Kenn Louis, Sean and Erin Steiner, Laura and Garnett Andes, Allan Meyer and great-uncle of many.
Fred was born on May 27, 1937 in Cleveland, OH and passed away on February 28, 2019. He lived in Garfield Heights, San Antonio, Euclid, Bratenahl and Maple Heights. Fred was a member of St. John Cathedral. He belonged to the Coast Guard Auxiliary, North East Yacht Club and Sport Car Club of America. Fred graduated from Benedictine High School in 1955 and graduated from Loyola University in Chicago in 1959 and Cleveland Marshal Law in 1962. He was an Attorney at his own practice. Fred enjoyed sailing, bicycling, kayaking, flying helicopter, racing cars, gardening, traveling, tennis and most of all being a grandparent. Fred will be remembered by his selfless, friendly, thoughtful and compassionate personality. He was a fearless, generous and relentless man who was dedicated to his family and his faith. Frederick will be greatly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, March 4, 2019 at 10 AM at Jennings, 10204 Granger Rd, Garfield Heights, OH 44125. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Fred at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SUNDAY 2-6 PM and MONDAY MORNING 9-10 AM at JENNINGS.
