FRANK M. PURGAR, age 61, born December 30, 1962, in Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on November 3, 2024, surrounded by his immediate family, after battling several health challenges in recent years.
Frank loved his children, his dogs, his job, and his boat. Frank will be remembered for his dedication to all that he set his mind to accomplish, often in non-traditional ways. Frank was a dedicated employee of Weltman, Weinberg, & Reis for over 18 years. At the time of his death, he was proud of his membership and position as Financial Secretary at Wildwood Yacht Club. Frank was a spirited hockey player and graduate of the University of Dayton, where he developed many friendships and created memories that he enjoyed retelling to all who would listen.
Frank would want all to know that he never gave up - that it was his body that failed him and that he fought for every moment he was alive, living life on his own terms, to its fullest, and sometimes past that. Frank will be remembered for fearlessness, passion for life, and unforgettable laugh.
Frank is survived by his loving daughters, Hannah (David), Michaela (Ethan), and Natalie; life partner, Heather; brother, Slavko (Diane); nephew, Steven (Brittany); niece, Danielle (Michael); great-nephew, Henry; his best boy, Teddy; and grand dogs, Kyle and Gerry.
He was preceded in death by his parents Slavko Purgar and Mary (nee Savor).
In keeping with Frank's final wishes, he is to be cremated and laid to rest at his favorite place, Lake Erie, on a beautiful summer day.
