Frank C. Oravecz

FRANK C. "BUBBA" ORAVECZ age 73, loving father of Todd; cherished son of the late Frank T. and Jennie (nee Koren); dearest brother of Mark (Kathy) and Valerie Semperger (Frank Levar); dear uncle of Lisa (Ray) Simpkins and Dillon (Brittany) Semperger and great-uncle of Grant Simpkins and Evelyn Semperger; friend to his son's mother Sue Ann Oravecz and fur-companion Kit-Kat, his beloved cat. 

Frank, best known to family and friends as Bubba, was born on July 3, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio. Growing up he was quite an all-star when it came to baseball. Bubba had a knack for hitting the ball out of the park and was given the title "Home Run King". Over the years he worked for various companies, however he truly enjoyed his time at Hawken School. There he worked a custodial position and referred to himself as the "Janitorian" of the White House. Bubba appreciated the arts, listening to The Rolling Stones and David Bowie, and was a huge Marilyn Monroe fan. At the end of the day, Bubba found solace sitting around the fireplace, whether he was listening to music, watching a classic show on the T.V., discussing everything there is to discuss about classic cars, or simply finding peace in the absence of sound. On June 23, 2024, this funny and caring man passed away. His genuine desire to help others leaves an everlasting impression on those who had the privilege of knowing him. 

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Bubba's life on his birthday Wednesday, July 3, 2024.
