Frank L. Di Franco

FRANK L. Di FRANCO, aged 82 years, beloved husband for 62 years to Angelarae (nee Di Giacinto), loving father of Denise Marie Hanuseck (husband Mark), devoted brother of Angelina Lombardo and Gerry Pompeo. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Burial following with military honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (Seville, OH).

Frank lived in Lyndhurst, Ohio for 25 years. He passed in VA Hospice care with his wife, daughter and son in-law at his side. Not only was he a proud US Marine through and through, he was also a 4 degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus.

Frank enjoyed listening to the Bee Gees, Motown, and Italian music. He loved to watch CSI, NCIS and any police show that was produced.

He put himself through night school to obtain a college degree and became a graphic artist for the City of Scottsdale in Arizona. While working there, he befriended a fellow employee who was deaf. Frank went back to night school, on his own time, for three months to learn sign language so he could communicate with his new friend.

Frank was a kind, gentle man who loved to be with his family and his pups. He was quite the trickster… When he had his scooter, his wife would make him put it in turtle mode. Before getting off his scooter and into the car, he would switch the mode to rabbit, unbeknown to his unsuspecting wife. She would be the one to load the scooter on the back of the vehicle. She would turn the wheel and press the button to move and would launch at warp speed all the while holding on for dear life as he sat and chuckled from the safety of the truck.

While in Ohio, Frank was a bank security guard and joined the Marine Corps League. He made many friends no matter where his was and always made people laugh. He was easy like and love.

He will be missed by anyone who knew him and anyone who loved him. God has definitely gained one of the greatest angels He will ever know.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Frank at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) MONDAY 2-4 AND 5-8 PM.
