Frank J. Abramczyk

Frank J. Abramczyk of Cleveland Heights, OH died at home due to pancreatic cancer on November 24, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen and sons Geoffrey and Michael. His sisters, Karen Henterly and Annette Abramczyk (deceased) and brother, Bernard Abramczyk are loving siblings. His father, Frank J. Abramczyk (deceased) and mother Genevieve Zajdek Abramczyk (deceased) were parents that we fondly remember.

Frank grew up in Independence, OH, and attended Independence High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree at Cleveland State University and attended the Master of Business Administration program at Pennsylvania State University.

Frank founded Cleveland Manufacturing, an air-pollution control company. He employed an engineering team and travelled the country to rebuild and install electrostatic precipitators that collected and safely disposed of pollutants collected in paper mills and energy facilities. Frank transitioned to product delivery and started OnLine Logistics, providing delivery services to OfficeMax and other companies.

Frank and his family lived on Aldersyde Drive in Shaker Heights, OH. He owned a second home on Johnson’s Island in Ottawa County, where he and his sons drove our golf cart, ran in the woods and skated on Lake Erie when the ice was safe. He was an avid fisherman and skier who vacationed in Alaska and Colorado.  He shared his fishing enthusiasm with his wife, children, and brother. Frank was an athletic father who coached son Michael’s baseball and hockey teams. He held reward ceremonies for baseball players at his home. Frank’s enthusiasm for life was contagious. We will maintain that exuberance in his honor.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Frank at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) SUNDAY NOV. 28, FROM 1-4 PM.
