Frank J. Ivancic, age 91, of Willoughby Hills passed away April 9, 2015 at the Avow Hospice in Naples, Fl.

He was born March 2, 1924, in Euclid, Ohio to the late Rose (Sercelj) and Joseph F. Ivancic.

Mr. Ivancic was the partner and operator of the I.D. Tool and Die Co. in Mentor and was honored by the Federal Small Business Organization for his exemplary business practices. He was a life long participant in the Cleveland Slovenian heritage as a singer in Slovan Men’s Chorus and the Glasbena Matica Mixed Chorus as well as being an avid polka dancer. He was also a WW II Army veteran.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Eileen (Cichon); daughters Shirley Ivancic Stall and Cathy Ivancic; grandchildren Jennifer (Manuel) Nieves, Matthew (Eliette) and Gregory Stall; great-grandchildren Manny and Danny Nieves and brother Rudy (Joanne) Ivancic. Preceded in death by his brothers Joseph, Edward, William and Stanley.

Family will receive friends Friday May 22 from 3-8 p.m. at the Zevnik-Cosic Funeral Home 28890 Chardon Rd. Willoughby Hills.

A Memorial Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday May 23, 2015 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church 29840 Euclid Ave. Wickliffe, OH. Private family interment will be in All Souls Cemetery at a later date.

Family suggests memorial donations in his name to the Slovene Home for the Aged 18621 Neff Rd. Cleveland, OH 44119.
