Frank Ferkulj

FRANK FERKULJ age 88, beloved husband for 60 years of Terezija (nee Bobic); dearest brother of Rozalija Glavan; preceded in death by 2 brothers and 5 sisters. Dear uncle of Tina, Nada, Andreja, Angela and many other nieces and nephews.

Frank was born on December 5, 1928 in Struge, Slovenia and passed away on January 28, 2017. He was a 55 year resident of Mentor, previously of Collinwood. Frank was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church where he volunteered as an usher. He was a member of Pristava Pensioners. At 22 years old he moved to the U.S. from Austria. Frank worked as a plumber for GE for 29 years. He enjoyed hunting deer, fishing, gardening and traveling all over the world but especially loved Arizona. Frank was hard working and friendly. He had a sense of humor and loved to tell jokes. Frank will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church 15519 Holmes Avenue, Cleveland OH 44110 at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Frank at THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) TUESDAY 4-8 PM.
