FEOLA, PhD age 40, beloved husband for 16 years of Jennifer (nee Homick); loving father of Frank, Elena and Daniel; cherished son of Frank and Marsha (nee Gentsy); dearest brother of Ryan (wife Kelly) and Lauren (husband Francesco); dearest uncle of Mattia and Jonathan; dear nephew of Rose Prescaro, Ken and George Gentsy and the late Angelo (wife Judy) and Nicholas; treasured son-in-law of Donna (nee Nekl) and the late John Homick; fond brother-in-law of the late Julie Homick; dear cousin and friend of many.
Frank was born on May 31, 1976 in Cleveland and passed away on March 16, 2017. He was a resident of Mayfield Heights for 16 years, formerly of Mentor. Frank graduated from Mentor High School in 1994, John Carroll University in 1999 and received his masters and PhD from Cleveland State University. He was a financial service advisor and educator. Frank loved fishing, hunting, gardening, and playing soccer with his family. He enjoyed music and drama, writing poetry and journaling. Frank was unselfish and always doing the right thing; his heart was always looking out for the “underdog”. A do-it-yourself-er by nature, Frank inspired his children and others to solve problems and be hard workers. His unwavering faith in our Lord, which he freely shared with others, will ensure his legacy.
Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Burial following at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Frank at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) TUESDAY 1-3 & 4-8 PM.
