Frank Bucci

FRANK JOSEPH BUCCI, SR., age 77; cherished husband for 53 years of the late Elaine (nee Ehas); loving father of Fred (wife Lauri), Frank Jr. (wife Susan), Kathy Velotta (husband Lucio), Chuck (wife Toni), and Kim Korver (husband David); devoted Poppa of Melissa, Daniel (deceased), Joey and Jordan Bucci, Lucio Jr., Vince and Francesca Velotta, Chuckie, Nicolette, Elaina and Deena Bucci, Ryan, Kaylee and Katelyn Korver; beloved son of the late Pietro and Olympia (nee Ventura) Bucci; devoted brother of Mary DiGiovanni and the following deceased: Daisy, Fanny Stanco, Peter, Jean Sage, and Fred; dearest brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Frank was a resident of Mayfield Heights for 52 years after moving from Woodland. He was a member of Cornerstone Community Church where he was active in the Benevolence Ministry and many other ministries at the church. A graduate of John Adams High School, Frank worked as a brick Layer at Carbone Construction. He was also a member of the Local Brick Layers Union #5. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling, fishing, working word puzzles, watching Cleveland sports teams and listening to contemporary Christian music. He loved his family very much. They will fondly remember him as a loyal, faithful, hard-working, selfless man who had a great work ethic, was willing to help anyone and loved the Lord.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Cornerstone Community Church, 1400 Lander Road, Mayfield Heights, OH 44124. Interment following at Knollwood Cemetery.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Frank at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD ROAD (just east of Green Road) WEDNESDAY 2-4 & 5-8 PM.
