FRANCES LOUISE LEACH was born on March 15, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio and was adopted by Nathaniel and Eunice Pearson. She was one of four children. Frances passed away on August 24, 2022, at McGregor Gardens at the age of 86. She is survived by her loving husband, Frank Henry Leach.
Frances graduated high school in the Class of 1954. She then spent three years in a convent through Our Lady of Lourdes Parish as a novice. In her working life, she spent 54 years as an LPN and had a wide-ranging career within Cleveland, including working for the Red Cross, Kaiser Permanente, and several private practices.
She was a constant and revered volunteer at many church activities over the years with St. Catherine, Christ the King, and St. Philomena Catholic Parishes. She also volunteered at A. M. McGregor Home for many years prior to becoming a resident there.
She died peacefully at McGregor Gardens in East Cleveland following declining health and dementia. Frances was a source of love, joy, and comfort to all who knew her. Her work both in nursing and volunteering gave her the opportunity to help many others in her lifetime.
Her loss is felt in the communities she helped throughout her life, where she called home (McGregor), and amidst her loving family. She will forever be in our hearts.
