Florence Gould

FLORENCE M. GOULD (nee Ganofsky) age 94, beloved wife for 66 ^½ years of Robert L.; loving mother of Robert (wife Beth) and Janice Gould Alodah (husband Mohamad); devoted grandmother of Kayleigh Gould and Sophia Alodah; cherished daughter of the late John and Susan (nee Paceut) Ganofsky; dearest sister of Genevieve (the late Paul) Litavic, and the late Evelyn (Nicholas) Rulli, Raymond (Carol), John Robert (Albina), Susan Marcella (Victor) Vilella, Ruth (Richard) Hodges, and Mabel Ann (Donald) Cashill; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Florence was a telephone operator supervisor, homemaker, and Christian Education director and teacher. She enjoyed her hobbies of seamstress and designer, and loved to visit with family.  She was an avid reader of nutrition research, Christian faith, and Biblical principles. Florence touched the lives of many with her gift of counsel and encouragement, and inspired all who knew her with her positive outlook and can do attitude, all grounded in her unwavering faith in Jesus.  Florence’s vibrancy, appearance, and strength defied her age, even into her nineties.

A private family celebration of life service will be held Monday, April 20, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Christian Assembly with burial following at Knollwood Cemetery.
