FLORENCE BETTY DRUCKENBROD (nee Hess), died peacefully in her sleep on December 19, 2014 at her home in Shaker Heights, blessed by God to have lived to the remarkable age of 99, beloved wife of the late Lawrence Michael, Jr., dearest mother of Lawrence Michael III (Barbara), James Frederic (Jean), Thomas Edward (Cathy – deceased), Mary Joan Visintine (Rita) and Mark Joseph (Cynthia), loving grandmother of 12, great-grandmother of 18, and great-great-grandmother of 1, cherished daughter of the late Carl A. and Charlotte E. (nee Meyers) Hess, devoted sister of Rosemary T. Keller and the late Frederick Joseph Hess, fond aunt, grand-aunt, loving relative and close friend to many.

Memorial donations may be sent in Betty’s name to Church of the Gesu, 2470 Miramar Blvd., University Heights, OH 44118; or to the Christ Child Society of Cleveland, c/o Parmadale, 6753 State Rd., Parma, OH 44134.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Gesu Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Burial following in Lake View Cemetery. The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Betty at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) on MONDAY from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
