A Mass of Christian Burial for Filip Oreh 88, of Wickliffe will be held 10 a.m. Monday April 20, 2015 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church 29850 Euclid Ave. Wickliffe followed by burial in All Saints Cemetery Northfield, OH.

Mr. Oreh passed away Wednesday at his residence.  Born in Bizovik, Slovenia, he was a resident of Wickliffe for 52 years.  He was a member of Tabor, Slovenska Pristava Pensioners, Slovenian Home on Holmes Ave. and an avid balinca player.  A cancer survivor, he was a dedicated family man and a great friend that was loved by all.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years Ida (nee Takatsch); children Veronika Smith, Nada (Richard Sr.) Shimko, Luba (Ronald) Hennies, Philip and John Oreh; grandchildren Sean and Scott Smith, Richard Shimko Jr., Elisa and Jeffrey Hennies, Elsie Smith, Nicholas (Heather), Hannah, Philip, Alison and Olivia Oreh; great-grandchildren Addison, Quinn, Elliot and Johnny; sister Nada Skubic of Slovenia and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, five siblings and granddaughter Kathryn Shimko.

Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Zevnik-Cosic Funeral Home 28890 Chardon Rd. Willoughby Hills.
