Felix Budwell Stump

FELIX BUDWELL STUMP, JR. age 78, beloved husband for 51 years of Linda (nee Kemp). He was born on June 1, 1946 in Pensacola, Florida to the late Adm. Felix B. Stump and Elizabeth Smith Stump. As part of a prominent Navy family, he was raised all over the country including five childhood years spent in Honolulu, HI, during which time his father was serving as Commander-in-Chief, U.S. Pacific Fleet during the 1950s following a distinguished record in the Pacific Theater during the Second World War. After college, he began a decades long career as a salesman in the chemicals water treatment industry while residing in Northeast Ohio (Chardon) and central Ohio (Lucas). He held a lifelong love and devotion for his two sons, attending every sporting event his boys participated in growing up, rain or shine, in-state or out of state. Affectionately known by friends and family as "Hap" in reference to the Spanish translation of his first name, Felix leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity...and will be missed by many!

He was preceded in death by his sister who adored him, Elizabeth Frances Stump. He is survived by his sons Felix (Aubrey) of Chelsea, MI and Alton (Katie) of Aurora, OH, his grandchildren Ashley, Clara, Hayden and Emmett, nephew John M Stump Jr (Diane) of Hampton, NH and niece Cathryn Stump Lemberg of Centreville, VA.

Graveside Service Friday, February 14, 2025 at 11AM at Fowlers Mill Cemetery, 12399 Fowlers Mill Road, Chardon, Ohio. A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date for the summer.
