F.B. RIEK, JR. age 87. Beloved husband for 29 years of Jacquelyn (Lauer) (nee Dempsey) and the late Andree (nee Maes); loving father of Ben (wife Leslye), Thierry (wife Wendy), Corinne; step-father of Lyn Kinney, Cindi DelBrocco, Art “Flip” Lauer, Deirdre Lauer and Ted Lauer; devoted grandfather of Kaytee, Andree and Sara; dearest brother of Jean Reilly and the late George “Bud”, Mae and Edward Riek; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

World War II U.S. Army Veteran.

A Celebration of F.B Riek’s life will be Friday August 28, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. Bartholomew Episcopal Church 435 SOM Center Rd, Mayfield Village, 44143. Interment following at Knollwood Cemetery.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of F.B at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 5:00-8:00 PM and at the church FRIDAY MORNING 9:00-10:00 AM.
