Eva M. Pawlak

EVA MARGARET PAWLAK (nee Santucci) age 93, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025, in Highland Heights, Ohio. Born on November 8, 1931 in Clarksville, Pennsylvania to parents Ralph and Solina (nee Predale) Santucci, Eva warmly touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew her.

Beloved mother of Doris (Gary) Lebzelter and Brenda (Wayne) Traffis. Grandmother of Jessica, Samuel, Kimberly, and Jacqueline. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years Walter Pawlak and son Walter (Christine) Pawlak, Jr., seven brothers and one sister.

An avid gardener, Eva meticulously maintained her own flower and vegetable gardens and served as a founding and lifetime member of the Highland Heights Garden Club. As a lifetime member of the Ohio Gourd Society, Eva and her daughters demonstrated their imaginative creativity in competing at the annual gourd shows in Mt. Gilead, Ohio. She also enjoyed photography and volunteering for various church activities.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, March 17, 2025 at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church, 5384 Wilson Mills Rd, Highland Heights, OH 44143, at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Eva at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SUNDAY MARCH 16, 2025, AT 2-5 PM.
