EUGENIA A. “JEAN” GEORGE (nee Spaliatsos), age 88; beloved wife of the late George P.; loving mother of Dorothea Mayhew (husband William), Theresa Zemba (husband Edward), Janet Petac (husband Anthony) and Georgiene Peko (husband Douglas); devoted grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 18; cherished daughter of the late Thomas and Theresa (nee Szekeres) Spaliatsos; survived by 3 sisters and preceded in death by 1 brother and 2 sisters; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Eugenia was born in Cleveland and was a resident of Mayfield Heights for twenty-two years. After graduating from high school, she was employed as an assembler for General Electric. Eugenia had many different interests which included traveling, shopping, playing bingo, exercising, and listening to the music of Dean Martin and Elvis. Her family will remember her with fondness – her energy, kindness, generosity, and loving nature.

Funeral Service Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Sts Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 3352 Mayfield Rd Cleveland Hts, OH 44118 at 11 AM. Burial following at St Theodosius Cemetery. PRIVATE FAMILY VIEWING will be at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) MONDAY 4-8 PM.
