“Together Again”
Emily Richardson (nee Plemel) age 94, beloved wife for 73 years of the late Gordon; loving mother of Geri Cobb (husband Jim, deceased); devoted grandmother of Brian, Christopher (Trudi), Gordon and Samantha (Jon) and great-grandmother of James and Emily; cherished daughter of the late Frank and Frances Plemel; dearest sister of Florence; dear aunt of many.

Emily was born in Cleveland Ohio to Frank and Frances (nee Silc) on January 22, 1922. After high school Emily traveled to New York where she studied to be a secretary. As a secretary to a Coronel, Emily served our country while her beloved late husband, Gordon served in WWII. Emily and Gordon where married for over of 73 years and never wanting to be apart from each other in life, Gordon predecease her only 16 days ahead of her. Their pride and the joy in life, was their adoring daughter Geraldine who gave them 4 outstanding and cherished grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Emily loved to crochet, knit and cross stitch blankets, scarfs, hats, gloves and so many beautiful things for their family that will be cherish for generations to come. Her grandchildren say she loved her church and was a kind, patient, gentle loving women who loved her. Emily and Gordon are together again, but will be missed by so many.
