Emily Popik

EMILY M. POPIK (nee Buehner) age 74, together again with her beloved husband for 53 years,  the late George P; loving mother of Phil (girlfriend Tammy Mullen), Cheri Rossi (husband Anthony), Greg (girlfriend Jennifer Corpora) and Gary (wife Lynda); devoted grandmother of Phillip and Amanda Popik, Morgan and Nicholas Rossi, and Vincent and Tarah Popik; cherished daughter of the late Ben and Emily Buehner (nee Marsey); dearest sister of Agnes Cromer (husband Bill), Dorothy Weslee (husband John deceased) and George Buehner (wife Traci); devoted lifelong best friend of Beverly Hayes (husband Denny deceased) dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Emily was born August 16, 1942 and died June 29, 2017. She was retired from Progressive Insurance, where she worked as a secretary. Emily was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church for 50 years. She was active in bible study and enjoyed Christian music.

Emily loved to cook and bake. She also loved flowers and nature, jewelry, and all the holidays with her family. Emily’s family described her as loving, generous, kind, and ever devoted to her parents, children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
