ELIZABETH A. “BETTY” BRAYER (nee Hiscar) age 94, beloved wife of the late John; cherished daughter of the late George and Susan (nee Tomchak) Hiscar; loving sister of the late Mary Paulchek (husband Joseph, deceased), John (wife Libby, deceased), George and Edward Hiscar (wife Florence, deceased); dearest aunt of Mary Louise Weltner (husband Warren), Joan Lares (husband Peter, deceased), Edward Hiscar (wife Joanne), Lynn Hiscar, Annette and Clara Zahradnic (husband Peter), and the late Patricia Clay; dear great-aunt of Nicole Kozlowski, Scott Weltner (wife Gina), Lisa Ort (husband Michael), Lorie Weltner, and Brianna Hiscar.

Betty was born on June 16, 1922 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania and passed away on November 2, 2016. She was a resident of Euclid for 64 years, formerly of Cleveland. Elizabeth was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church and formerly of St. Paul Catholic Church in Euclid. Betty attended high school in Pennsylvania and she was a longtime secretary at Republic Steel retiring after 35 years of service. Elizabeth will be remembered most as a kind, gentle, generous and giving woman who will be greatly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, November 7, 2016 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church at 9:30 AM. Private burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Betty at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) MONDAY MORNING 8-9 AM.
