Elizabeth A. Strauss

Elizabeth A. “Betty” Strauss passed away at age 75 on August 29, 2011. She was married to Charles J. for 56 years and mother to Charles J. (wife Mary) of North Carolina, Robert G. (wife Michele) of Eastlake, and Laura A Niederst (husband Joseph) of Chardon. Her parents were Peter and Olga (nee Binaw) Lyczko. She was a devoted grandmother of Kristen, Erin, Lauren, Becky, Carli, Joey and Emily.

She leaves behind siblings Helen Bencheck of Mayfield Heights, Dorothy Yarrow of Florida, Kathy Miller of Willoughby and Edward Lyczko. She was an aunt and great-aunt of many.

Betty graduated from Mayfield High School in 1953. She loved to travel and was a walker in the Metropark and loved to cook and bake. She was a loving wife and mother who was known for her generosity and concern for others. She was a homemaker and worked part-time at Sears & Roebuck for over 30 years.
