Elena Prada

ELENA PRADA (nee Ceausu), age 88; beloved wife of the late Ioan; loving mother of Cristian M., M.D. (wife Daniela, M.D.) and Gabriel I., M.D. (wife Speranta) of Romania; devoted grandmother of Christian D. and Ana G.; survived by many relatives in Romania.

Elena moved from Romania in 2006 to Orange Village, where she lived with her son and daughter-in-law. She was a retired teacher, having taught Romanian Literature and French. Elena loved to read, travel, tell stories and correspond with her friends and family. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy and she loved to cook traditional gourmet meals for them, especially at Easter and Christmas. Elena will be remembered for her hospitality and love of cooking for others, as well as her happy, outgoing and friendly nature.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 11:30 AM at SS. Constantine & Helen Cathedral, 3352 Mayfield Rd. Cleveland Heights, Ohio 44118. Burial following at Lake View Cemetery. The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Elena at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) on SATURDAY MORNING from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
