Eleanor Gutman

Eleanor Amelia Gutman (Peters) age 89, of Thompson, died February 8, 2011 at the Blossom Hill Health Care Center. She was born October 31, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a 1939 graduate of Collinwood High School in Cleveland. After graduating, she worked at National Acme Co. and Roseanne Fashions. Mrs. Gutman owned and operated the H&E Rabbitry in Thompson with her husband for 21 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing and gardening.

She is survived by her children Linda Brewner of Rochester, MN and Mark Gutman (Jeri Lynn Poling) of Hartsgrove, OH; grandchildren Deanne (Steve) McGee, Eric (Heather) Gutman, Jennifer (Travis) Peters and Kate Brewner; eight great-grandchildren; siblings Alma Plietchwait, Herman (Vera) and Arnold (Betty) Peters and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Howard who died in 1989; sons Richard and Roger Gutman; parents Adolph and Anna (Reder) Peters and brother Adolph Peters.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday February 12, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church 8091 Plank Rd. Thompson, OH. Pastor Donald Coulter will officiate.

Burial will be in Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Hts. Family will receive friends at the Cosic Funeral Home 28890 Chardon Rd. Willoughby Hills Friday 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
