Elaine M. Lind

ELAINE M. LIND (nee Pall) age 73, beloved wife of Robert; loving mother of Maria Newcomb and Michelle Newcomb Hammett (husband Jason); devoted grandmother of Taylor, Niko and Anthony Willrich and Grace and Julia Hammett; cherished daughter of the late Gustav and Margaret (nee Krusovsky) Pall; dearest sister of  Marilyn Rood (Gerry Gross), Kathy Onorato (husband Rick), Patricia Godale (husband Christopher, deceased) and the late Randall Pall (wife Patricia); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Elaine was born on March 8, 1947 and has graduated to her heavenly reward on January 31, 2021. She grew up in Lyndhurst and graduated from Brush High School in 1965. Elaine was an executive administrative assistant for Lubrizol for many years. She loved cooking, spending time with her family and watching her grandkids play sports, dance and listening to their music. She was an avid reader; especially the Bible and was truly devoted to the Lord and being a Bible teacher. Elaine made sure that everyone knew Jesus loved them. She was very social, with a funny sense of humor and loved to be around people. Elaine will be remembered most as a giving, generous woman who enjoyed serving everyone and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. She will be forever remembered.

Celebration of Life Service Thursday February 4, 2021 at 1PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Burial following at Maple Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Elaine at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.)  WEDNESDAY 4-8 PM.
