EILEEN R. WELSH (nee Novotny), age 95, beloved wife of the late Peter C.; loving mother of Mary Ann Cozzens (husband Thomas, deceased), Kathleen Stasun (husband Kenneth), Peter C., Jr. (wife Shirley), Patricia White (husband Stanley), Maggie Smith (husband Donald), Carol Ponikvar (husband John), Karen Lavery (husband Ian) and Dennis (wife Debbie); dearest grandmother of 23 and great-grandmother of 31; treasured daughter of the late Joseph and Agatha (nee Stouder) Novotny; cherished sister of Joseph Novotny, Anna Mae Nagle, Mary Lou Urig, Claudia Godlewski, Richard Novotny and the late Adelbert Novotny, Mae Bell Nagle, Wilbur, Raymond and Ronald Novotny; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Eileen was born on March 31, 1920 and passed away December 18, 2015. She graduated from the St. Vincent Charity Hospital School of Nursing and had a long career as the dispensary nurse at Chase Brass and Copper Co.  Eileen was very active in her former parish, St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church.  She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at St. Dominic Catholic Church 19000 Van Aken Blvd., Shaker Hts., OH  44122 at 11 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.
