EILEEN R. REILLY (nee Wells) age 93, beloved wife for 68 years of the late Edward J. Reilly, II; loving mother of Edward J., III (wife Deborah Klein) and Kathleen Adamczyk (husband George); devoted grandmother of Kristin Tran (husband Quoc) and Kevin Adamczyk (wife Annie) and great-grandmother of Tara and Lucas Tran; cherished daughter of the late Clinton and Agnes (nee Dowling) Wells; dearest sister of Leo Wells (wife Christine) and the late Mary Palmer (husband Paul, deceased), John Wells (wife Joyce, deceased), James Wells (wife Anouska), Thomas Wells (wife Rita), and William Wells; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Eileen was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 27, 1923 and passed away on  March 15, 2017 in Richmond  Hts. Eileen was a long time resident of Mayfield Heights and member of St Clare Parish. She attended Villa Angela Academy graduating in 1940 and then for the next few years worked as a bookkeeper for Fisher Body and also the Halle Brothers Company. She met her future husband, Ed Reilly at a young people’s club dance at Gesu Church in University Heights. The next year, on November 27, 1947 she married Ed at Gesu Church.

Eileen was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  For a number of years, Eileen worked as the photographer at the Mayfield Hts. Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Her hobbies included crochet, bocce, and pinochle, and  she was a devoted Cleveland Indians fan.  Eileen was also active in the local Republican party.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions may be made in Eileen’s memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44110.

Family will receive friends at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) on Sunday March 19th from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial for Eileen and  Edward will take place at St Clare Church  5659  Mayfield Rd. Lyndhurst at 10:30 AM  on Monday March 20th  with internment following at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, OH.
