Edward R. Leonardi, Sr.

EDWARD R. LEONARDI, SR., aged 72 years, beloved husband for 53 years to Sandra (nee Zenz), dear father of Edward R., Jr. (wife Cheryl), Donna, Joseph (wife Ann) and Joanne Rugg (husband Warren), loving grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 5, devoted son of the late Edward and Durida (nee Sara), cherished brother of the late Raymond Leonardi and Joanne Kuban, fond brother-in-law and uncle to many.

Edward was born in Cleveland on June 15, 1948 and passed away peacefully on May 1, 2021.  He resided in Mayfield Heights, and prior to that, he lived in both Nevada and Euclid.  Edward graduated from Warrensville High School and went on to become an electrician and owner/operator of his own business.  His hobbies included bowling, coaching baseball, watching Penn State sports, and the Cleveland Indians.  He enjoyed music from the 1950’s and 1960’s.  Edward was a Trump Supporter. His favorite quotes included, “Joey, stop busting my balls!” and “Vieni qui.” (“Come here”, in Italian).  Edward will be missed by many.

The family will receive friends at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON RD. (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SATURDAY AFTERNOON 1-3 PM. NOTE: Facemasks and social distancing required.
