EDWARD A. KUDASICK age 72, beloved husband for 52 years of Mary (nee Stopinsek); loving father of Sara Lowman (husband Albert) and Courtenay Knerem (husband Steve); cherished son of the late Joseph and Nellie (nee Raudis); dearest brother of Patricia Bilek (husband Elmer), Deborah Buchman (husband David), Richard, Mary McNerney (husband Richard), Kathleen Rochow (husband Jeff), and brother-in-law of Frank Stopinsek (wife Sheila); dear uncle and great-uncle of many.
Edward was born on June 20, 1948 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and passed away on July 10, 2020. He was a resident of Novelty, Ohio for 34 years. He received his Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from General Motors Institute (GMI) and his Executive MBA from Baldwin Wallace College. He held various business development and management positions with Barnes Distribution, PolyOne, Hamilton Kent Manufacturing Company, and Carlisle Geauga Company. He was a long time member of the Kiwanis Club of West Geauga, having proudly served as president, as well as The Friends of Quetico Park where he enjoyed an annual wilderness camping and fishing trip with friends and family. He was an outdoorsman and avid fisherman and treasured time spent with his three “grand-dogs” especially in retirement. He is lovingly described by his daughters as the “best dad in the world!” In spite of serious health challenges over the past 15 years, he lived life to the fullest volunteering in the community and traveling the world with his wife, Mary. Ed was an exceptional man in all aspects of his life; however, it was his dedication as a husband, father, brother and friend that will forever leave an impact on all who knew him. Ed will be missed beyond measure.
