EDWARD P. HUGHES JR, age 25; died suddenly, beloved son of Edward P. Sr and Lauren (nee Grugel) (fiancé Dennis Stiffler); loving brother of Joseph Hughes and Jennifer Regan; cherished grandson of Thomas and the late Rose Marie Hughes and the late Ken and Diane (nee Centrackio) Grugel; dearest nephew, cousin and friend of many. U.S. Army National Guard Veteran serving in Afghanistan.

Eddie was born on February 15, 1990 in Cleveland and passed away suddenly in an automobile accident on December 2, 2015. Eddie was a resident of Twinsburg since 1998 previously of Lyndhurst. He graduated from Brush High School in 2009 and played the trumpet in the Twinsburg High School marching band. Eddie was a member of the Indian Guides and Strongsville VFW Post #3345. He is a U.S. Army National Guard Veteran having served in Afghanistan. Eddie worked as a plumber and bartender. He loved cars, cooking and spending time with his friends. Eddie will be remembered most as being willing to give the shirt off of his back. He was a people person, flexible, spontaneous and willing to do anything for anyone.

Celebration of Life Service Saturday December 5, 2015 at 5:30 PM at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91). Burial will take place with Military honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio on Tuesday. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Eddie at the FUNERAL HOME SATURDAY 1-5:30 PM.
