Edward Duffy

EDWARD J. DUFFY, age 78. Beloved husband for 54 years of Eleanor (nee Sciko). Loving father of Carleen Sanders (husband Earl), David (wife Kathie), Susan Kahl (husband Shawn), Kim Bradac (husband Scott), Katy Langdon and Kelly Kaleal (husband Bobby). Dear father-in-law of Michael Langdon. Devoted grandfather of 28 and great-grandfather of one. Treasured son of the late James and Mary (nee Frye) Duffy. Cherished brother of Margaret Donovan (husband William) and the late Michael, David, Mary Jindra, Catherine Winston and James Duffy. Dearest uncle and great-uncle of many.

Ed loved hunting, golfing and Notre Dame Football. His family was also his hobby. Ed will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He was unselfish, truthful, honest, hard working, responsible, respectful, simple and a man of integrity and one whose family meant everything to him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. Robert Catholic Church 23802 Lakeshore Blvd, Euclid, OH 44123. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Ed at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-9 PM.
