Edward Colavecchio, Sr.

EDWARD P. COLAVECCHIO, SR. age 62, beloved husband for 28 years of Sandy (nee Petersheim); loving father of Tanya Marie Holy (husband Joe), Edward, Jr., Dominic, Mario, Gino and the late baby Alicia Marie Colavecchio; devoted grandfather of Chloe, Hailey and Penelope Holy; cherished son of Mary (nee Mondello) and the late Nick; dearest brother of Sandy Sultzer (husband Jimmy), Dee Charlton (husband Scott) and Carol Shively Mizes; fond nephew of Joseph Mondello; treasured son-in-law of Toby and Katie (nee Miller) Petersheim; brother-in-law of Kristine and Mark Nietzel, and Shirley Petersheim; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

Edward was born on March 20, 1956 in Cleveland and passed away on November 7, 2018.  He has been a resident of Chagrin Falls for the past 9 years and grew up in Mayfield Heights.  Ed graduated from Mayfield Heights High School in 1974 and attended John Carroll University.  Ed was in a men’s Bible Study at his Church.  He was the owner/operator of his own automotive repair & restoration business.  Ed enjoyed cars, softball and watching the Browns and Indians play.  He was selfless, friendly, outgoing, hardworking, funny and witty.  Ed will be greatly missed.

Celebration of Life Service in memory of Ed will be Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 1 PM at Fellowship Bible Church, 16391 Chillicothe Rd., Chagrin Falls, Ohio 44023. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Ed at THE CHURCH SATURDAY 11 AM-1 PM. Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Arrangements by THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND.
