EDWARD A. BOCHENEK age 86, beloved husband for 61 years of Dolores (nee Zaremsky); loving father of Renee Horvatich, Edward, Jr. (wife Teresa), and Lori Ann; devoted grandfather of Delaney and Molly; cherished son of the late Joseph and Anna (nee Mintus); dearest brother of Veronica Havert, Jerome and the late Roberta Hindelwicz, Valeria Loda, Wanda Kurtz, Joseph, and Walter; dear uncle and great-uncle of many. U.S. Army Veteran and retired Wickliffe Fire Chief.
Edward was born on June 21, 1931 in Brier Hill, Pennsylvania and passed away on November 4, 2017. He was a resident of Wickliffe since 1951, formerly residing in Pennsylvania. Edward was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church where he was an usher, adult server and volunteer for festivals. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Wickliffe and the Retired Fire Fighters Association. Edward graduated from High School in Pennsylvania and was the Fire Chief in Wickliffe from 1978-1992. He was handy and loved helping his children, grandchildren, family and others. Edward loved to travel, visiting Europe and 48 states. He will be remembered most as a reserved, giving, generous and patient man. Edward will be greatly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following with Military Honors at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Edward at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) TUESDAY 4-8 PM.
