EDGAR ANTONIO SAENZ, JR. age 52, beloved husband of Anita (nee Draksic) for 21 years; loving father of Evan; cherished son of Edgar Sr. and Gretchen (nee Paiz) and son-in-law of Verica and the late Martin Draksic; dearest brother of Gretchen (Rob) Gash and Eileen (Diego) Martinez; dear uncle of Anthony and Gabby Gash, and Mateo Martinez; nephew and cousin of many. 

Edgar was born on May 3, 1971, in Managua Nicaragua. After marrying the love of his life Anita, on May 17, 2003, they were blessed with their son Evan. Ed was devoted to his son and dedicated to his family. He was truly a kid at heart and was known for his love of video games, superheroes, and collection of vintage toys. Despite the struggles he faced with his illness, Ed remained hardworking. He devoted 27 years to Steris. He also enjoyed all things StarWars, 80’s music, and going to concerts. On March 18, 2024, Ed was called to rest leaving his family missing him endlessly.

Please meet for a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, March 23, 2024, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord, OH 44077, at 1PM. 

Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. 

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Ed at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY from 4-8 PM.
