Timothy (Tim) Reardon was born in the Collinwood neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio, on July 7, 1942. In his childhood, he moved from Collinwood to Lyndhurst where he attended St. Clare School and Parish. He was active in sports and was an Alter Server during his time at St. Clare. Tim attended St. Joseph High School in Euclid, Ohio, where he lettered in Track and Football. He attended the University of Dayton, graduating with a BS in Education.

Tim married his high school sweetheart, Elaine Roberts, in 1964. He began his career in education as a science teacher and football coach in 1964 at Greenview Junior High School. He continued his education to eventually earn a Master’s degree in Administration from John Carroll University and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Cleveland State University. He became a Guidance Counselor, helping children at both St. Gregory the Great and St. Margaret Mary schools in South Euclid, Ohio.

Tim and Elaine’s family has fond memories of summers camping with the cousins in Lake George, NY, where Tim could often be spotted water skiing on the lake while simultaneously enjoying a cool Budweiser and a cigar. Grampa and Grandma Roberts’ cottage in Madison, Ohio, also hosted many family gatherings with competitive bocce tournaments and fun clambakes. Dean Martin and Neil Diamond both feature prominently on the soundtrack of all these memories.

After raising their family in Lyndhurst, Ohio, Tim and Elaine built their dream house in Chesterland, Ohio, where they became active members of St. Anselm Parish. There they have spent over 30 years enjoying the peace of the country and entertaining their large family and many friends.

Tim Reardon was a loving son, brother, husband, father, cousin and friend. He lived his deep Catholic faith and passed that faith to his family. He passed away peacefully at his home in Chesterland, surrounded by his family. He is loved by many and will be missed but will live forever in all of our memories.
