Drago Androjna

DRAGO ANDROJNA age 78, beloved husband for 50 years of Francka (nee Majc); loving father of Caroline “Charlie” Androjna (husband Kevin Healey), Frank (wife Mary Martin-Androjna), Angela, and Maria Weber (husband Nick); devoted stari ata of Alexander and Ethan Androjna, Jake Healey, Ashley and Luke Weber; cherished son of the late Franc and Marija (nee Bozic) Androjna; dearest brother of the late Justina, Franc and Marija Androjna.

Drago was born on February 12, 1939 in Gorne Impolje, Slovenia and passed away on March 12, 2017. He was a resident of Euclid for 40 years and previously residing in Cleveland. Drago moved to the United States of America in the mid 1950’s. He graduated from John Hay High School and Fenn College of Engineering. Drago worked as an engineer for NASA and was an U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of KSKJ Branch St. Joseph 169 and Pristavski Upokojenci. Drago received the most enjoyment in life spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid reader, loved to walk and enjoyed gardening. Drago will be remembered most as a loving grandfather and dedicated family man. He was a dedicated scholar and intrinsic with his sense of humor. Drago will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, March 18, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church at 10 AM. Entombment at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Drago at THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME 28890 CHARDON RD., WILLOUGHBY HILLS (BETWEEN BISHOP RD AND RT. 91) FRIDAY 4-8 PM.
