DOUGLAS L. HEISLER, age 91. Beloved husband for 67 years of Jean (nee Lavins). Loving father of Regina Collins (Francis), Douglas (Cheri), Ann VanSickle (Richard), Michael (Jean), Tricia, Roberta Williams (H. Glenn), James (Betsey), Kathleen Roman (Michael) and John (Barbara). Devoted grandfather of 34 and great-grandfather of 12. World War II U.S. Navy Veteran.

In lieu of flowers family suggests contributions may be made in Doug’s memory to Sisters of Life c/o St Paul the Apostle Convent 586 McLean Ave., Yonkers, NY 10705.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at St Clare Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory. Burial at sea will follow.

The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Doug at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) on Friday, March 4, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM
