Dorothy R. Stettenfeld

DOROTHY R. STETTENFELD (nee Marous), aged 92 years, beloved wife of the late George E., dearest mother of Margaret M. Greer (husband William), Carol A. Burchett (husband John), Lauren K. Greuter and George E. Jr. (wife Connie), loving grandmother of 9, step-grandmother of 4, and great-grandmother of 1, devoted sister of Eugene J. Marous and the late Alberta Barrows, Leonard F. Marous, Arlene Koenig, Adelbert P. Marous and Loretta Marous, cherished aunt and grand-aunt to many.

Mrs. Stettenfeld died Tuesday at Blossom Hill Care Center in Huntsburg. She was born on March 28, 1921 in Highland Heights, Ohio. She was a 1938 graduate of Mayfield High School. She worked at General Electric for 13 years, and also as a dental assistant and homemaker for many years. She enjoyed traveling, decorating, sewing, cards, baking, gardening and canning. She was a former member of the Red Hatters Group, and a long-time parishioner of St. Clare Parish.

Relatives and friends are requested to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, October 19, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 401 North St., Chardon, at 10:00 AM. Burial following in All Souls Cemetery. The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Dorothy at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON RD. (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) on FRIDAY from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
