Dorothy Reilly

DOROTHY J. REILLY (nee Meyers) age 89, beloved wife of the late William J.; loving mother of Kathleen Pokorny (husband Judge Thomas), Tim (wife Denise, nee Galati) and Laurie Bruckman (husband David); devoted grandmother of 10, and great-grandmother of 10; dearest sister of Evelyn Trivison and Larry Meyers; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Dorothy was born on June 6, 1925 in Cleveland and was a resident of Gates Mills and most recently of Mayfield Heights.  She was also a resident of Marco Island, FL.  Dorothy was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and was active in their Women’s Guild.  She also belonged to Acacia County Club and was a Red Cross Volunteer.  Dorothy loved to play golf, read, crochet and do puzzles.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially at Christmas.  Dorothy will be remembered for her loving, caring and generous nature.

Contributions may be made in Dorothy’s memory to Reilly Irrevocable Trust, P.O. Box 31118 Independence, OH 44131, for the benefit of her great-granddaughter Claire.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, April 17, 2015, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Saints Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Dorothy at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 4-8 PM.
