Dorothy R. Coolidge

DOROTHY R. COOLIDGE (nee Rawson), age 94, died Oct. 2, 2019, beloved wife of the late Alexander, loving mother of Thomas, Mark (Dianne) and Barbara Souvey (Edward – deceased), dear grandmother of Chris, Allison, Eric, Jennifer and Sidney (deceased), great-grandmother of Kali, Chloe, Evan, Noah, Lexi and Anthony.

Dorothy lived in Daisy Hill – Hunting Valley, Ohio. She graduated from Cleveland Hts. High School and received her college degree from Denison University. While at Denison, she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority and had maintained an active association with Delta Gamma for 60+years. Dorothy loved her family and friends. She enjoyed playing bridge with her Delta Gamma bridge group and was an avid reader. Dorothy and Alex were blessed with two other residences – Jupiter Island, Florida where they spent their winters, and Park County, Colorado for the summer on one of their cattle ranches. She moved to Breckenridge Village and lived there until her death.

At her request, private graveside services will be held at Lake View Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Delta Gamma Sorority, 3250 Riverside Dr., Upper Arlington, OH 43221; or to the Life Care Fund at Breckenridge Village, 36500 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, OH 44094.
