DOROTHY E. KRAMER (nee Erjavec) age 75, beloved wife for 53 years of Robert; loving mother of Martin (wife Ranee), Therese Kramer Moritz (husband Thomas), Sara Mayupuan, Angela Murphy (husband Shawn), and Rose Kramer (fiancé Jason Plats); devoted grandmother of Jesse, Correy, Aubrey, Toliy, Shannon, Sasha, John, Maxine, Falon, Nicholas, Lisa and great-grandmother of Lilly and Logan; cherished daughter of the late John and Dorothy (nee Boing) Erjavec; dearest sister of Jack Erjavec (wife Rosemary); dear aunt, great-aunt and cherished friend of the Herdering Family and many others.
Dorothy was born on October 8, 1944 in Cleveland and passed away on February 14, 2020. She was a resident of Lyndhurst for 50 years, formerly residing in Chicago, but grew up in Euclid. Dorothy graduated from Villa Angela High School in 1961, received her undergraduate degree from Ursuline College and earned her master’s degree in Library Science from Dominican University (formerly Rosary College) in Chicago. She was a member of St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church for 25 years. Dorothy worked as a school librarian at St. Clare Catholic Church and a librarian at Cuyahoga County Library Beachwood Branch. She was a member of local book clubs and enjoyed attending Bible study. Dorothy was an avid reader, great cook, avid Indians fan and Cleveland sports fan. She enjoyed traveling to the Outer Banks and any outdoor vacation. Dorothy loved children and especially loved to read children’s books to the children. She will be remembered most as a kind and generous woman who was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and good friend to many. Dorothy will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, February 20, 2020 at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Dorothy at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) WEDNESDAY 4-8 PM.
