Dorothy Carlson

DOROTHY Y. CARLSON (nee Youngberg) age 98, beloved wife of the late Henry G. Sr.; loving mother of Henry G. Jr. and Gerald (wife Cynthia); devoted grandmother of Sherry Baker (husband Jeff), Laura Day (husband Sean) and great-grandmother of Timothy, Jacob, and Kari Ann; cherished daughter of the late Frank and Ida (nee Josefsson) Youngberg; dearest sister of the late Evelyn Feldman, Helen Leible, and Edward Youngberg; dear aunt of Raymond Bailey and great-aunt of many.

Dorothy was born on January 8, 1920 and passed away on March 1, 2018. She was a resident of Mayfield Heights for 97 years where she was a member of VASA Noble Lodge and a parishioner of Peace Lutheran Church formerly Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Cleveland Heights. Dorothy graduated from Mayfield High School in 1937 and proudly worked as a secretary for the Mayfield City School District. She enjoyed gardening and traveling all over Europe in her free time. Dorothy loved spending time with her friends and family. She was loving, giving, and will be dearly missed by all.
