Doris Evans

DORIS A. EVANS (nee Hirst), aged 73 years, beloved mother of Kevin, Darryl, Pam and Gregory, loving grandmother of Sydney, Darryl Jr., DeVaughn, Tianna, Kaylea, Dorys, De’Andre, Jaz and A’nya, cherished sister of Rosemarie Gerber and Bruce Hirst.

Doris was a resident of Cleveland Heights and University Heights for the past 40 years. She was a community advocate for University Heights. Doris attended Collinwood High School and worked as a Payroll Administrator for Apcoa and Phillips. In her spare time she helped senior citizens. Her favorite music was Neil Diamond.   Doris got the most enjoyment in life from her children and grandchildren. She was a fan of Cleveland sports teams. Her favorite times were Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas. Her family remembers her as compassionate, generous, loving and kind, and helpful to others.

Visitation Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016 at 10 AM at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) followed by Funeral Service at 10:30 AM. Burial Knollwood Cemetery.
