Donna Ruggiero

DONNA V. RUGGIERO (nee Speck) age 86, was born on February 21, 1929 in Cleveland passed away on January 10, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Nicholas D.; loving mother of Donna Scott (husband Gary), Michael, Beverly Schilero, Nicolas Jr., Samuel (husband Robert Shepard), Rick (wife Beth), and the late Sandra Meyer (husband John); devoted grandmother of Gary Carpenter (Michelle), Nicolette Harper (John), Laurie Carpenter (Joe Borbely), Lori Paine (Chris), Michael, Joseph and Anthony Schilero Jr., Gia, Janeen and Jennifer Ruggiero, great-grandmother of 8, and great-great grandmother of 1; treasured sister of Shirley Petti and the late Dorothy Koppitch and Carl Speck; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Donna was a resident of Painesville for 15 years, formerly of Willoughby. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her kids. Donna loved crossword puzzles, camping and playing cards. She adored animals, was very witty, funny and was very family oriented.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Celebration of Life Service Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 7:30 PM at the FUNERAL HOME. Private burial at Lake View Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Donna at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 4 – 7:30 PM.
