Donna M. Lubecky

DONNA LUBECKY (nee Spalsbury) age 92, beloved wife of the late Robert E.; loving mother of Robert Jr (wife Linda), Edward, Gary and David; devoted grandmother of Robert J. (wife Deana), Edward R., Carrie Miranda and the late Jenne and great-grandmother of Brianna, Brayden, Logan, Kylee, Genessa and Andrea; cherished daughter of the late Earl Elmer Spalsbury and Annis K. Brady (nee Kline) (husband Tom Brady deceased); dearest sister of the late Delores Citino, and Janet Jones; along with her deceased brother Jerry Brady; dear aunt and great-aunt of many. 

Born on May 22, 1932 in Greenwich, Ohio, Donna graduated from Greenwich High School with the Class of 1949. With her loving and giving personality, she delighted in being a homemaker, raising four sons, and adoring her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. With plenty of mouths to feed, Donna experimented with recipes and became known as an excellent cook. All those who knew her fun side would remember her fondness for dancing an energetic polka. Donna left this world on January 11, 2025, but wonderful memories of her life will be cherished by her family, with love.

Celebration of Life Service Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 11AM at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 11521 Chillicothe Road, Chesterland, Ohio. Entombment immediately following. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Donna at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) THURSDAY MORNING 10-10:30AM.
