Donald Krocker

DONALD E. KROCKER, age 60; beloved husband and best friend of Christina J. (nee Dupre’); loving father of Dillon J. and Dalton A.; treasured son of Mary E. (nee Kovacich) and the late Earl B.; cherished brother of James Ewert-Krocker (wife Laurie), Richard E. (wife Annette) and Elaine M.; dear uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Don was a retired Police Lieutenant with the Willowick Police Department. He was a resident of Willowick for 10 years after moving from Euclid where he was born and raised. Don graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1971 and received his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Kent State University. He was a member of the FOP. In addition to playing the banjo with a local blue grass band, Don enjoyed listening to classical and blue grass music, camping, photography and spending time with his sons. His family will fondly remember him as a quiet, independent, supportive, fun man with a great sense of humor.

Contributions may be made in Don’s memory to the the FOP/FOPA Timmy Gallagher Scholarship Fund.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial SATURDAY, February 22, 2014 at St. Noel Catholic Church at 12 NOON. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Don at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 2-4 and 5-8 PM.
