DONALD M. GRANDE age 83, beloved companion of the late Diane Shultz; loving father of Michele Shirk (husband John), Kimberly Arndt (husband William), Stephanie Sentle and Domenic Grande; former husband of Helene Grande and former father in law of Chris Sentle; devoted grandfather of Nicole Staley (husband Tim), Johnny Shirk, Domenic Arndt (wife Sara), Emily Arndt, Christopher, Isabel, Olivia and Madeline Sentle, Danielle, Carly and Kaitlyn Grande and great-grandfather of Ava, Luna, Leo, Leia, Oliver and Lucas; cherished son of the late Domenic and Mary (nee Ciccatelli) Grande; dearest brother of Marie Panzarella (husband Kenneth) and Joseph Grande (Carol Norton); dear uncle of Christine Pitts (husband Dennis), Kenny Panzarella (wife Tiffany) and the late Denise Panzarella; great-uncle, cousin and friend of many. Survived by his beloved canine companion Max.

Donald was born May 6, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio, graduated from Cathedral Latin High School with the Class of 1959 and attended Ohio University. In addition to working 25 years for Pepsi, this hard working and strong-willed man became the owner/operator of several restaurants: Grande's 2nd Generation Lounge, The Park Grille and Grande’s Italian Cuisine. Patrons will remember his social ease, sense of humor and quick wit. When his demanding work schedule allowed him to take leisure time, he enjoyed spending it with his grandchildren, golfing and faithfully cheering on whichever Cleveland sports team was in season. Surrounded by family, Donald passed away on November 1, 2024. His family, which was the center of his world, will forever miss his strength, constant devotion and warm smile.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 12021 Mayfield Road, Cleveland, OH at 10 AM. Burial following at Lake View Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Donald at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) WEDNESDAY 4-8PM.
